Pelican House / Edition of 9

Captured a half-mile out to sea off the coast of Jamaica, the idea for this photograph was inspired the night before during a lively and memorable gathering of three small, local villages. Finding himself standing in the early morning hours with ocean chop threatening the camera gear, the haze of the previous evening cleared for Gouin. An ideal model, a local Rastafarian, was calm and noble during the shoot, not uttering a single word.
